All the lakes in the Banff area are this glowing teal color and BREATHTAKING. They are glacier lakes, and the color is caused by the rocks that have been ground to dust by the glaciers (rock dust). We took a longer bus ride to the base of Lake Louise, then hiked to Mirror Lake from here.
