October 2021: Chateau Defay

Adriana and Misha were expecting an hour of rough roads to get to this French vineyard and we were all surprised with a new, beautiful road and an 8 minute drive.
After trying to sit through the world’s most boring tour guide (word for word rehearsed, canned jokes included) I snuck away under the guise of taking pictures of the group. Misha followed, and we had a hilarious “most awkward pose ever” photo shoot.
The wine tasting was Argentinian—not a good year for Guatemala wine—but the dinner after and company was perfection.
